A History of Commitment to Distribution
The Columbia Division is made up of both Consolidated Electrical Distributor (CED) and Columbia Electric Supply (CES) locations. Since our inception, Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc. has focused on providing all electrical product to our Contractor, Industrial and Manufacturer customer bases. We do so through one of the nation’s largest distribution networks. We have over 575 locations throughout the country. We pride ourselves on giving consistently high levels of service to all customers, regardless of their size!
Number of Profit Centers
Our locations, called “Profit Centers”, operate as stand-alone business units. Managers have the authority and autonomy to make all decisions to effectively run their business. They choose everything from their building size and location, their suppliers, their number of employees and the market they will serve. CED’s business philosophy truly allows you to “be your own boss”.
